About
While the theory of ‘co-creation’ is often spoken about in smart city projects, in reality bringing top down and bottom up systems in real-time is rarely practised.
Rather than treat citizens and local businesses as consumers, Citizen Canvas invites them to be active architects of the changes they want to see. This leads to better systems that don't rely on historical or sensor data alone to succeed, and make them inherently resilient.
How does it work?
TALK: interview people in the city.
IDENTIFY: the needs of the different segments.
AUDIT: the service usage, data exchange and touch-points in the city.
SUPPLY:what do they offer the city in terms of service and activity?
DEMAND:what is needed in terms of infrastructure and service?
Benefits
The goal is to create a more human, future-proof smart city where people want to live and play.
Additionally, we will create new business models and illuminate new opportunities for public/private partnerships that can drive the local economy and create vibrant, self-sufficient communities.
