About
Participatory projects and smart city engagement programs only work if you can successfully sell the idea of participation and engagement. Unfortunately, many of them fail on both counts.
After piloting our Changify neighbourhood events across neighbourhoods in London, Barcelona, Hamburg, Zurich, Sheffield we have innovated a unique hyper-local loyalty program that ties up local retailers to the goals and outcomes of local communities seeking change.
How does it work?
For a monthly subscription starting from £50 local retailers can sponsor/back local urban challenges and award customers points in the local loyalty scheme of their choice
Step 1: Map the local area earmarked for the change project. Recruit retailers in the earmarked area or city wide.
Step 2: Sign them to the Changify Enterprise Local loyalty program. This is provided by our partners - Reward Technologies
Step 3: On day of the event printout local map with key participating retailers.
Step 4: Hatch ideas and solutions and team up with potential biz-partner/local biz & brand during crowd events and data challenges – collect points.
Step 5: Retailers can promote/advertise local offers and challenge of the month at their local store. Track footfall and analytics through retailer dashboard.
Benefits
Cities can create new sources of revenue to help fund infrastructure projects that are ad-funded.
Retailers can get closer to their local customers and community by aligning their engagement and increasing loyalty by identifying with issues that the communities care
Local communities can benefit from earning points, get rewarded for their data and time – increasing footfall to their favourite local shops and at the same time enjoy social activities that are in sync with their interests.
