About
The world is full of ideas. What we truly need is action the skills to realise ideas.
Community CoLabs gives cities an incubator where all local people can come to learn a new skill, create a prototype of changes to infrastructure that they would like to see enacted, and challenge policy to rethink how cities are run.
How does it work?
Community CoLabs operates a number of classes that equip with the locals to:
MODEL: their social local network
MAP: the future of their public transport.
CREATE: stories from their data.
POLISH: their pitch for their community project/local startup.
HACK: the local economy with neighbourhood businesses.
Benefits
Not everyone is an architect or a council member. Community CoLabs helps cities and communities receive the training they need to understand how to co-create change in a structured way.
By partnering with local businesses, media, and universities, we can equip people with practical skills and tools that can be used immediately to inform current programs and smart city roadmaps.
